These work very well, especially if you set them to work with a wind on leader.Easy to set, just a bit tricky to unset (with no bite of course), but are balance well.I drag a chugger with a modified ballyhoo rig, and it doesn't trip the planer, which is amazing to me.But a bite comes and pop! It comes right up.Love it.I got the #4, and they dive at a far greater angle than my downrigger with 12 pound ball.I prefer these to the downrigger, which is far far more expensive.

It doesn’t look and feel as sturdy as other brands. But what’s worse is, it’s crooked and i don’t know how to correct it.
