The second time that I used this saw, one of the retaining clips came off. How? I have no idea; I was too busy sawing a vine. Good thing that they include spares with the packaging. But what do you do when you run out of spares when you are in the wild? Killer blades that are easily replaced. Solid sawing action in a very portable package. I have this and the bigger one. The bigger one doesn’t fit in my day pack. This one does. Measure your pack if this means a lot to you.

Great customer service. My original Boreal 15 came damaged upon arrival (not Agawas fault) and with a quick correspondence with the customer service portal I had a replacement sent out a couple days later.Great product design out of the box. Will have to test out the ergonomics in the field but seems like a sturdy and efficient tool. Thank you Agawa!

I like keeping a collapsible saw with me for camping. A saw is probably more useful than an axe and only slightly less useful than a knife. If you want to process firewood you will be a tired person doing it with an axe and a very old person doing it with a knife. A saw is the right tool for the job. The trouble is that a good bow saw is a bulky thing hence the search for a solid option that can go in the recover kit of the van and the pannier of the motorcycle or a backpack. I have been curious about this saw since seeing the reviews but having 2-3 compact/folding saws already I wasn't sure I needed another. On my last moto trip I took my old one and it barely fit in the pannier of the motorcycle (and the panniers on the Ducati Multistrada Enduro are huge!) and it was a royal pain to assemble with a loose blade and fiddly screw. Sure the tension is adjustable but really how often do you adjust it?This thing came out of the box and became a saw in 5 seconds. Not just a saw but an amazing, strong and taught saw that folds up about 6" smaller than the next saw that I have. It's smaller than the folding saw I keep in my hydro pack for dirt biking and it's WAY better than it too. I'm so impressed with this thing I'm buying the larger one to replace the traditional bow saw in my 4x4 recovery kit.

I have wanted a pat down pruning saw since I started watching outdoor boys on YouTube. This saw fits the bill and is perfect for back country excursions. Super sharp and the blade holds an edge really well.

キャンプ用に購入しました。焚き火台は主にソロストーブタイタンを使ってます。ネイチャーストーブですがたまに購入した薪や現地調達した手頃な木材も使います。ソロストーブは大きな薪を使えないので細かくする必要があります。前はなんとかボーイなど小型の折りたたみノコギリを使ってましたが切断に時間がかかりました。単に腕が悪いのですが刃が左右にたわんで振られやすいので力のロスも多かったです。そんな人におすすめなのがこの製品です。タフでしっかりしたグリップ。刃は前後を固定されてるので力任せに押し引きしてもゴリゴリ切れます。細かい仕事には向いてません。展開、収納時のトランスフォームのような可動はカッコイイですよ。
