Glad I found these after spending way too much for similar on another website only to have them fall apart after about 6 months. These have held up well over the past few months and are significantly cheaper. I purchased the gold frames in 39mm size, and the nose bridge is stamped "18k" so I can only assume it's genuine gold plated. The temples do press into the sides of my head and leave a mark but they are not uncomfortable. The spring around the back of my ears rest in a different spot from my last pair and were uncomfortable for a few days until I got used to them.My optometrist put my very strong prescription lenses in these without complaint or comment.I plan on picking up a second pair as backup because they're so great for being so cheap. No more scrounging antique stores and flea markets.UPDATE: I purchased these frames originally in February of 2019, and it is now October of 2020. Today, after attempting to bend and wobble the metal around the nosepiece to adjust the frames a bit, the weld weakened and the glasses finally gave up the ghost. over the last nearly-two-years the gold plating did wear off around exceptionally high-wear points like the side of the temples that touch my face, and particularly the spring of the temple piece where they curl around the ears. The glasses have otherwise maintained their appearance and durability, slowly bending to conform to my face over time a bit as well. I am so glad i had purchased my backup pair, i was able to remove the lenses and swap them over with little fanfare. I have now purchased another pair to replenish my backstock, and bonus is that I now have an extra set of temple pieces as well from the previous pair!UPDATE #2: I have received my replacement frames, and they appear to be made by a different manufacturer. While they look very similar, the lenses appear to be larger (I ordered the 39mm frames, their packaging is labeled 39mm, but the temple is stamped 40 and they seem to measure closer to 41mm). This means I cannot use them as backup frames and swap lenses back and forth. I returned them for a replacement assuming that I'd been sent the wrong product, but my replacements are the same. I'm disappointed.TL;DR: after nearly two years, they've been great and I'm buying more now.

These are exceptional glasses. I love them. They look great and stylish. Although they look fragile, surprisingly they are made very strong and sturdy. I will buy these frames again in the future. I took them to Walmart Vision Center to have my prescription lenses put in them and they were perfectly RX compatible. These frames are the best buy I've had in awhile. Only one discomfort. The nosebridge is bare metal, and it was cutting down into the bridge of my nose. It became a bit painful. They should be made with a small rubber pad on the underside of the nosebridge to prevent cutting into your nose. I found a small rubber strip in my junk drawer and glued it to the underside with gorilla glue. Unoticeable to onlookers and was the perfect solution to my problem. Now they lay comfortably on my nose.

I’m giving this product a high-ish rating even though they do not fit my face & head at all.I’m big & tall with a larger-than-average head (size 7-3/4 hat). The frame width is quite narrow, and the wraparound arms are way short and hurt my ears after a while. The flexible curved wire goes right back to their shape when I take them off... I guess that’s a good design, but I kind of wish I could reshape them to conform to my ears. But for the average- to small-sized human head they should fit nicely, I presume.I love the classic design shape & color. Nothing indicates that it’s from the modern era, for example, no bridge cushions. They fold almost completely flat, so they’re easy to transport in a long cushioned jewelry box. I only wish I got them in a larger size. The price could be lower, and the delivery window could be smaller too. But I suppose that can’t be helped.

These frames are stylized, simple - 2 moving parts, and won't drift down my nose if I sweat. 5 stars. Comfort = 4; they irritated my ear before I got the adjustment right. Also the ear pieces, the moving parts, and at the bend over the ear they are flexible but weak. These frames are not costly, I've ordered a back up to use for replacement ear pieces It's a very easy fix, a few turns of a jewelers screwdriver is all. Then, maybe a gentle twist or two so they sit even. Never having to visit the optician for that sort of fix makes my life a fraction easier . . . And did I mention stylish? Before wearing these no one ever stopped me to say; "Nice eye glasses!"

the metal that the frames are made with is extremely low quality so i wouldn't recommend you use these for anything other than a "toy" for a costume, but since the lenses are plastic, you really can't see through them enough for them to be useful even as a "toy", and the price is way to high for how low quality and cheap the frames are, i would not recommend these be used for prescription lenses, the frames would not last anytime. I had to immediately send them back and get a refund because the nose bridge was not attached correctly (not straight) so they sit crooked on my face, although I really like the style and the cable temples (that wrap around the ears though). The return process war easy, so, no problem getting a refund. I ordered a pair of titanium frames instead.

1. Temples (bows) were easily bent to accomodate my specific needs, making them comfortable.2. Rx was just right.3. Light weight makes wearing comfortable4. After several months, no sign of damage to finish. And I get compliments from strangers on occasion about the fashion of the glasses :)

These could be a very nice pair of glasses, but the temples are too short for me. Because the earpieces wrap around the ear, they put uncomfortable pressure on my ears. I have insulated the earpieces with shrink wrap, which allows me to wear them for a longer period.

The bright golden color of the arm is getting fade to dull aluminium color. The color was life long garranteed. But it fails. Unfortunate and painfull . No meaning of garraunttee stands.

I'd w/ high Rx or prism know there aren't many frame options that don't look like wearing a glass-brick or a permanent demo of Newton's theory of gravity (as applied to glasses). Fashion statement?? Ok, that's a bonus too. These and similar frames from Agstum are perfect for me. Small lenses, light wt, and the cable arms keep them from falling into my drill press or a small black hole when I'm doing weekend hobby work. Where have these been hiding?
