This 5-1 tool makes it handy to ensure straight edges - but also easy to create curved edges and angled corners.Doesn't take up much room in your bookbinding kit. Only shows measurements in centimeters - would be nice if it showed measurements in inches too.

I didn't realize how helpful this tool would be until I tried it. My latest journal has the proper spacing between the covers and spine now, and my corners are much more neatly covered. It all fits together better now with using this great tool!

I can't believe I made booklets without this. This simple tool has made my hobby even more fun and seamless than I thought it could be. This tool is so versatile and it's easy to use. The markings on it are legible and the metal material this is made from is strong and sturdy. The measurements are in CM and not in IN so keep that in mind when you're using this. To be fair, CM are much more accurate than IN anyway so that's very much a good thing.This is a must have for anyone that is considering bookbinding. This kit includes excellent instructions and it's good and sturdy!

I had seen one or two videos of people rebinding soft cover books into hardcovers and when I saw this tool, I decided to give book binding a try (if nothing else then to make my book collection look better). It has been such a fun, creative hobby that is highly recommended for the DIYer! And this tool covers the most difficult aspects of it, yo keep you consistent and to help figure out important measurements and maintain consistent angles. The packaging was well done and I sincerely appreciate the instructional card included!

This is a sturdy little tool for making neet professional book covers.It has everything you need, metric on one side and imperial measurement on the other. It has cut out for crisp square corners and a nice length for spacing on the spine on the bottom. There is a convienient hole to hang this on a nail or peg out of the way when not in use. Great for crafting

This is basically a "jig," or a tool that helps you with other tools. It's designed to help you make more accurate book covers for your books (for example, for protection or aesthetics, or both).You could probably just use other tools (ruler and compass) to perform the same things, but this is a sort of "all-in-one" tool that attempts to make life easier. WIth a little practice, it will likely pay off. And, it would likely yield better and more consistent results with its built-in settings (like rounded corners).So, judge your own skillset in considering this tool. Maybe you want a guide or maybe you want to freehand it. I guess it depends on how and why you want to pursue these kinds of projects. This would likely be good if you are doing multiple instantiations where consistency is paramount.I'm happy with this product.

Just started in book binding and this tool is great. I wish it came in a bigger size and I would order that too!
