Great PSU for the money. Runs an ITX board no problem. Fan nice and quiet. Good quality connectors.

The price was unbeatable. I ordered at 10:00AM and is was delivered before 10:00pm on the same day. The unit was well packaged and came with a power cord. When I plugged it in, it worked immediately. When I first started to go to some web pages I heard the power supply spinning up and thought "What the heck?" After 5 minutes everything settled down and the power supply has been rock solid for the 3 days I have had it.There are a lot of cables so if you like a tidy computer, you have work to do. For twice the price you can get the 850w modular power supply (you pick what cables you attach). I was only 80 percent sure it was the power supply and not something else, so I went with the quick and inexpensive option. (People have occasionally written online that the power button assembly was bad on their unit). For me, the power supply was the issue and this solved the issue. This power supply has everything that you need. If you are using it in a Dell with a dvd drive you will require a simple SATA to MSATA (four pin) connector. This runs 6 dollars on Amazon. All and all, this is a great power supply. If you need more power you can get the 850w modular power supply and have less cable mess and more power for higher end graphics cards.

I always get a laugh out of reading these reviews/comments, the good ones really don't say much and the bad ones can't be taken seriously a lot of times. If you build enough systems I think everyone has good and bad experiences with various parts from different venders. For me these PSU's from AVG have worked out well with no dead ones over the last few years, granted my sample size is only 7 so far and only 500 and 750 semi-modular so I can't speak for the models.

I had never herd of this company before, but I gave them a shot on a budget build I was doing. I have used it in 2 systems so far and I must say it has held up well. No frills black cables, and a little noise, but running strong for 6 months now. I am using i3's on cheap b760 motherboards, so I did not want or need a lot of power. If you are on a budget and just want an inexpensive power supply....yeah.

The price is right and the PSU is great. It's extremely quiet. It was a bit difficult to install but that's mostly because I have a smaller case. HOWEVER, I did remove a star because there was no power fitting for my DVD. I ended up having to buy an adapter...wasn't very expensive but it was still something I hadn't expected. Worse yet is that I've yet to install it because, like I said, my case is smaller and requires pretty much everything to be disassembled to get to anything. I'll do it eventually but it is enough of an issue to lower my rating by a star. Had I known beforehand, it would have been a huge help.

The product was a good purchase for the money, and seems to be holding up several months later. Fairly good length of the cables as well as a variety of connectors.. Power supplies are a crap shot, I have seen them blow the minute you first turn them on after install, and at all price points. You simply hope for the best, have been installing these since the mid 1980's and still get cautious to this day. If they survive the initial startup you should be good to go.

I have an old Dell Inspiron 620 desktop computer that runs Windows 10 very well.Lately the computer started to have issues, running slow or not booting up.I hoped that a new power supply would fix my computer and it did.I researched different power supplies and this one had some good reviews and it was more powerful than the original Dell 300-watt PS. It even came with a testing adapter. It was a very easy install, power leads were plenty long, and now my computer seems to run faster than before. I never shut this computer off so it runs all of the time.5 stars

Bought it about 8 months ago to build my pc and life happened so I wasnt able to get it built very quickly but once I did anytime I ran a game there is a high pitched Whine coming from the PSU and loading into more demanding games the PSU Cuts power to the PC either causing the game to crash or for it to be very stuttery and unplayable. sadly im past my return window before I could get the PC going. I Have a new PSU on the way. So learn from my mistakes and stay away even if the price point looks attractive its not worth it.

PSU was functional. Strong rubber smell. The fan is too noisy for me at 4 feet distance. Fan profile seems agressive and half of the fan opening is blocked by a piece of molded plastic on the inside - it’s probably one of the reasons for the noise. I guess i got what i paid for, since this is one of the cheapest PSU; build quality goes with the price.
