Found this AHL oversize piston for my 93 Suzuki DR250S bike. Since you can't really find piston for this model anymore I felt lucky and optimistic about this purchase. I have to say, initial impression on the unboxing was a good feeling. The piston and ring set were very nicely made. Measurements were spot on and ring gaps were nearly perfect. I have since installed and ran some heat cycles. Cylinder was obviously bored to match thos O.S. piston. Drove about 5 miles so for. Runs great. Not sure the long term but so for it am happy with this purchase. The cheap price kind of scared me a little if I'm being honest. I did have to wait 3 weeks for shipping from china. But after doing some research on the AHL products, they are basically high quality japanese copy chinese made replacement parts. They make a bunch of parts actually. I would definitely recommend these pistons.

Slapped this Kit in my beater dual sport. I first purchased a harbor freight hone(until it broke) to remove the grooves in the cylinder from theOld piston as best i could, my best red neck attempt at not ovaling the cylinder.Anyways, it ran great 500 ish miles on the rebuild when I soldIt and going strong!!!I also got almost 300 miles out of one last trip on it.Gonna miss that bike… but not kicking it. Although she was just about always a one kick wonder after the rebuild.If you’re buying to fix a beater or to fix and sell (it’s a cheapWay to price a bottomEnd is good, just be honest thr top end is Chinese, they’ll still be more willing to buy the bike, vs basket case/not running)

Rebuilt the top end on my 1990 Suzuki DR250S. Bike is running great and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
