Pro:I'm thrilled with my first hydroponic system experience! All my seeds (dwarf tomato, kale, arugula, and lettuce) have sprouted, and I'm excited to watch them grow. The setup is straightforward, space-efficient, and automatic. The system comes with everything needed, except seeds, and is easy to follow.Using high-quality seeds is crucial. I've had no issues germinating my seeds, even after just a few weeks. The light is bright, but I cover it with a black scarf at night. While it doesn't have a smart app, I don't find it necessary. I am able to get by.The quiet pump and 12 potting spaces are fantastic features. I highly recommend this system for small herbs and lettuce. The adjustable light is also a nice touch, allowing me to customize the settings. Highly recommended for first time grower.Con :None so far. I will keep updatingUpdate : March 8About one month later , I am able to harvest some salad (kale, multiple type of lettuce, basil). My dwarf tomato starting to flower too! I did refill the water (1 liter x 2 ) and add nutrient per instruction.

I bought this and liked it so much that I bought another one a month later. It comes with everything you need (except seeds). I like that the light is timed and that the buttons are at the top. I’m a simple person so I didn’t want any unnecessary features (wifi). The system is easy to clean. It is very quiet until the water gets low but I appreciate that since it lets me know it’s almost time to refill the tank. The large capacity makes it so that I don’t have to refill too often.

Great product. Used my own seeds from last year's crop. They germinate fast and grow even faster. The first pic is from Jan 2nd when planted. The second pic is from Jan 7th and the last pic is from Jan 15th. Set up and walk away. Minimum effort involved.Update 1/21/25 Last pic is 6 days after the previous one.

After purchasing one of these as a gift for a relative last year who loves it, I've been wanting to get one for myself. This grower is simply amazing! I figured I'd start with some cherry tomatoes, and they are growing so fast! It was very simple to setup, get prepared and let the machine do most of the work. In roughly one week, my seeds sprouted. I did leave the lights off for this, but the pump running (30 minutes on/off cycle). Once they germinated & sprouted in that first week, simply pressing the combined grow light/timer button on the Ahopegarden, it has done everything to make these plants grow so fast and healthy. It has been only 5 weeks into my first plantings and the tomatoes are already flowering! Don't hesitate on this item if you are considering getting into indoor/hydroponic growing.

I bought this for my boyfriend’s grandparents and they loved it! It’s very easy to use and it’s small enough to fit on a counter top. The only downside to it is, that is DOES NOT come with seeds. Other than that, I’d say if you like having your own counter top mini garden, it’s definitely worth the buy!

I just got this to replace an Aerogarden that no longer worked. The set up was straight forward and it has simple features that allow it to be pretty worry free. Size wise it is perfect - and 12 pods for this size was an amazing find.

Amazing! I have some sprouts after 2 days! I planned on using this for inhouse herbs. However, this is a great way to start my vegetable garden! We usually buy pre-grown plants for example, tomatoes and cucumbers for our garden every year, which is way more expensive than starting from seeds. Highly recommended for starting a garden or just to have fresh organic produce at hand.

I originally purchased 2 of these as Christmas presents. The plants I am currently growing in them are doing really well and will be ready for first harvest by then. Actually, I may have to give them early as they are doing so well, lol!Very simple to set up. Lettuce, kale, basil, parsley sprouted in just 3 days. Even though I soaked spinach seeds for 24 hours (the first seeds I tried, I soaked for 6 hours), those have not yet sprouted. But they don't sprout very well for me in soil either so I don't think it's the fault of the product.Easy to see water level, be sure to check the roots for length every so often as they get long really quickly and surround the water pump, causing it to work harder and potentially burning it out. I cut mine leaving about an inch below the pod.The reason for 4 starts instead of 5? The watering hole lid broke off on one of the 2. I contacted customer service, they responded quickly, but they don't make that separately, and they didn't offer a replacement lid. As I was planning on getting one for myself anyway, I've just taken the lid off that one to put on the gift.
