The lid handle is pretty small with its little triangle grip so you’ll need a hot pad to avoid burning your knuckles but other than that this set was perfect for camping and saved a lot of space!

It works as necessary. I mostly use the kettle to boil water. I try not to use the pan for frying or any food that is 'saucy' as it sticks and difficult to wash off. Definitely do NOT use over a camp fire. You'll burn the cheap rubber/plasty pieces.
