The Aileen CSV502 Violin Case uses high-density durable foam shells to protect your instrument. It features a high-density waterproof oxford cloth cover with YKK zippers that withstand the outside pressures. It includes two bow spinners, a blanket and an accessory compartment dedicated for your shoulder rest. The Violin Case is available in black and 4/4 full size violin.

Bought this to hold a YEV, and it works great, it's light, fits like a glove, holds a cable, rosin, bow, and obviously violin. It's just perfect, not too bulky, looks sleek. The blue interior protects the violin just fine. Granted, my girlfriend doesn't tour/gig, but it's nice. Definitely durable.

I'll admit it. I'm one of those guys who pays more to get a premium product if I think the value is there. In this case (no pun intended), I went for the cheaper price since I don't plan on transporting my new electric violin beyond the walls of my house. I'm impressed that it is a great case for the money. It protects the instrument, holds two bows securely, and has a drape that covers the violin to protect it in the event that I release the bow without paying attention to the chances of it hitting the violin. It stores my shoulder pad well, and I noticed that it has reflective bands around it, which could be a real plus for a child carrying it to and from a bus stop on a dark morning.

We purchased this for our daughter, and she loves it! The zippers seem to be holding up well so far. A huge selling point on this case for us was the compartment for the shoulder rest, which she has said is her favorite thing about it! She also loves that you can change the straps to wear it as a backpack, or sling it over your shoulder.

This seems like a nice basic case. It's very light, with it's basic structure formed by what feels like Styrofoam - so I wouldn't use it for shipping or flying, or anywhere it might have any weight put on it. But my old case was falling apart and I just needed something for basic protection, and this feels like it will fulfill the need nicely.It has enough room inside for Rosin, Strings and a decently large shoulder rest.

Our son has a 25 minute walk to school and we needed a violin case that was both sturdy and lightweight. This case is the perfect combination of both qualities. It definitely is a basic case, but is great for the money. In addition, the merchant has great customer service. We had an issue with our case that was addressed quickly and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Purchased this item for a responsible high school student who’s played the violin for 7 years, and we were impressed with how lightweight and practical this case seemed. However, we are now extremely disappointed at the terrible quality of this item. After just 2 months, the screws of one of the hinges came loose, and can’t just be screwed back on, indicating cheap particle board underneath that won’t grip. In addition, one of the zipper pulls/slider broke off, and the exterior seam of the case is coming undone as well, probably due to the broken hinge. An additional annoyance, is that this case will tip over once the violin is removed. The straps were never used, so we can’t comment on that, but needless to say, this was just a poor purchase that I would not recommend.
