Perfect light for sending up on my Air 3 drone. The harness fits in one direction or it won’t fit properly. Make sure the label on the top where the light 1/4†adapter attaches is facing the front of the drone to allow the proper snug fit, otherwise it will leave a tiny ~.5mm gap on the sides that will be enough to make the fit when trying to lock down the top of the harness not snap into place. Also, there wore the silicone rings for the 1/4†screw adapter and you will need them both on the side of the screw adapter that screws into the harness the light will already sit tight when you screw it down but the base will slowly rotate loose without them to apply the friction to prevent a catastrophic loss of the drone and the light and whatever is under it. It is also an FAS violation with this drone to have property or personnel damage which would require a report.On the middle setting, low constant light, I was able to see the light on a clear snow covered night from over 80 meters altitude and 50-70 meters out. That was amazing to me because it could go further out on the high setting and this should have a great use for locating lost campers and signaling a position.There is a weird flicker that wasn’t noticed until I landed and it looked like a scanning issue between the frame rate and possibly how the light is set to operate on battery. The props stopped spinning and the flicker was still there on the low setting. This wasn’t noticed in flight or at high altitude. Due to the light’s low weight it didn’t throw the balance of the craft off it seem to affect the flight mechanics any different than without it in the wind at high altitude.Very cool.

my issue is you can't add anything else on to it they're the certain sections are cut outs where it seems like you could slide in some additional legs or something or another part for more height or landing gear but I can't find anything so that's why this is getting three stars also the way is putting you at the maximum as well

I got this more for fun than anything else since it's not FAA approved for night flight. For fun, it works fine and fits my Air 3 just fine. It was easy to install and didn't add much additional weight to my drone so it didn't effect my flight time by too much.

Charges quickly via USB. Easy to install and fits the Air3 perfectly. Once I had it up in the air, I was impressed with how incredibly bright it is. It is a very focused beam, so it is meant to illuminate things that are distant, and it does it very well. It also makes it easy to spot your drone in the sky. Perhaps best of all, because it shines in front of the drone, your forward sensors will work even at night, and you have less risk of crashing into something when night flying.

This light is not bright at all. It has a tiny spot beam and no flood around it. From any distance in the air it will not light anything up. I’m not sure what the expected result is here, but this thing really needs to be a lot brighter if it’s intended to be a true drone spot lamp. It’s also very light and feels very cheap. Definitely doesn’t feel like a premium quality light. I think there are many better options available for equal or less money.
