I installed on a 2016 2500hd Duramax. The install only took about 2 hours by myself in my driveway with basic hand tools. I plumbed them individually. The pickup unloaded at 9 psi rides better than stock. The air lines leaked at the press in fitting on the bags. I removed the lines, lubed them with soapy water, reinstalled them and they haven't leaked since. I would recommend using the soapy water during initial install. This truly is a no drill system. I ran the air lines inside the frame and through 3/8 vinyl tube for additional protection. The fill ports mount very neatly through the unused holes at the bottom of the receiver and are out of the way of safety chains. I covered the u bolts with split loom because I thought it looked better. I highly recommend this product.

Installed on 2015 Silverado 2500HD. Perfect fit. Appears to be quality product. Aired to 6 lbs on 7/17/17 and 4 days later, still holding at 6 lbs.Installed for purpose of leveling when towing my fifth wheel with pin weight of 2460 lb. Truck would drop about 2 inches and I like it level when towing. After 30 minutes of putting the bags together, another 3 hours for the actual install myself, I am very happy with the product and I know it will perform as described. I was not in a hurry and others may be able to do it faster. I had truck on ground and used floor jack to lift each side as needed. Did not remove wheels. I also used the Air Lift Union Tee for the air line input. No problems working around hitch brackets so no drilling was required on my install.Great product, Excellent delivery from seller. Highly recommend. Just be sure it is the correct kit for your specific truck!

I've used Airlift 5000 air bag suspension kits before when i owned a heavy Lance slide in truck camper on a Chevy K3500 dually. I was very pleased with the ride stability they provided. I sold that truck/camper years ago. Recently i decided to buy a Capri slide in truck camper for use with my 2017 Chevy K2500, where weight and ride stability are more of a concern. I installed these Airlift 5000 air bags on my 3/4 ton several days before picking up my new Capri camper. The installation can be done by an RV dealer, but if you have the tools and safety jacks to support your vehicle, you can DIY. Install requires only basic tools (SAE and 13 and 14mm metric sockets - deep and standard, a 13 and 14mm open end wrenches, and a torque wrench). But SAFETY is most important.....be sure to use jack stands (i use a primary and a back up under my vehicle) and a good hydraulic lift jack. You don't need to lift the rear of your vehicle until the tires are off the ground, but only enough to give you more room between the axle and the jounce bumper housing. I followed the instructions provided by Airlift and checked off each step as I completed it. Airlift instructions did'nt mention a trick that i used to make easier to place the assembled air bags bags into position between the axle and frame. (See the pic) I compressed the air bag assembly and used a strand of bailing wire on each side to keep it compressed until i had it in position. Then, I cut the bailing wire and removed it easily. The air bags expanded into place on the frame above the axle. So much easier doing that than trying to force the expanded bag assembly into position! After that the remainder of the install was smooth, except for attaching the emergency brake line clip per the instructions......there was not enough clearance between the fuel tank and the frame to install the Airlift provided brake line clip. I had to secure it using a different method. After install, i followed the checklist instructions. Clearance, leak checks, check ride, and torque check passed. It took me about 6 hours to install, but I'm old, slow, deliberate and SAFE!Used the truck on an 800 mile trip to pick up my new camper. Had to endure high winds with 60mph gusts both from the headwind and from the side. The airbags were inflated to 35psi. The ride was level, stable, and i started to feel very safe and secure with the way the airbags improved the ride, even with the buffeting from the wind. These bags DO NOT increase your cargo weight rating. They improve ride control. If you have or are considering a slide in camper, I highly recommend these Airlift suspension kits. Same if you have a heavy tongue weight trailer that lifts your trucks front end. The Airlifts with give you a level and stable ride.

This is the stainless version and while the plates and lines are stainless the rest of the hardware is not. Its a bummer - i wanted the stainless because i live in in the rust belt. The instructions list several places you can mount the air inlets but the braided lines are only long enough to reach the bumper area - it would have been nice to have them in the gas tank door but the passenger side would never reach that far - despite the instructions indication that installing at that location was an option. These have JIC ends on the stainless lines however they are made very poorly and all leaked when tightened snug,. I had to remove them and reinstall with thread sealant If they are going to use crappy ends the least they could do is provide some teflon or pipe dope to seal them with,. JICs are not supposed to need anything to seal jus 1/6 turn past finger tight but these are craptastic. They do not tell you to do this but I inflated the bags and sprayed all the connections with soapy water to ensure they were not leaking. If I had not done this I would have had trouble. After everything that they are nice bags. I put them on my GMC 2500 and it nicely leveled it with the truck camper on. It takes some effort to get the pressure right. They don't really give instructions on how to set them and they really should. If you put just enough pressure in them to separate the overload spring from the main pack you get a good ride with level headlights. They do not take much air at all, inflating from shop pressure takes some effort to get right, they inflate very fast and if your trying to get to say 20 PSI on both its tough. Understand that you need to set the pressure with the load on the truck because 5psi with the truck empty could be 15-25 with it loaded. It makes sense, PV=NRT from physics and all but again its not explained in the manual. when i set them at 5psi and then put the camper on they were at 18. If you had them to high with the truck empty you could be over the PSI limit on the bags with the truck loaded.Overall, the install was easy and not at all time consuming, just frustrating because of the leaks. There is on the gas tank side a bastard bolt that you cannot get to with a torque wrench and have to just snug up by feel because the gas tank skid is in the way.I just used this for a 1200 mile trip with the truck camper right after installing them and highly recommend them for improved ride quality and keeping your head lights level .

Excellent installation instructions and product works as advertised. Installed on a 2016 Silverado and has made towing a heavy trailer much more enjoyable.

Good product so far. Works great for hauling a trailer. The bad thing is that I have only had the air bags for a week and both are leaking from the AN 90 fitting, not from the threads but from the swivel part. Kinda disappointed with that as now I have to track down parts and have it fixed.
