I have a small Kobalt 3.5 gallon air compressor that I had to turn on and off manually as it would over pressure, this was a direct replacement and has worked very well over the last couple of months during my remodel

I purchased this to replace a faulty pressure valve in my air compressor. The switch is located in an area that is not easily accessible with a wrench. I had to use a 27MM 6-Point 1/2" Drive deep Impact Socket.

I had purchased a Kobalt 8-Gallon Portable Electric 150 PSI Horizontal Air CompressorItem #470442 | Model #0300842, from Lowes.After a month of owning the product, without very much use, the air compressor started to run continuously and would not shut off. I reached out to Lowes / Kobalt warranty services and they sent out a replacement part but they sent the incorrect part. At this point it was past the 90 day warranty period. I then removed the pressure switch from the air compressor. The manufacturer is AIR-RITE, INC. the part number on it is E302345 / AIR-1215. 120 / 150.Based on other helpful reviews, I found this part to be a direct replacement to other Kobalt compressors. I purchased and received the product and can confirm after installing it, the compressor now shuts off at 150 PSI as expected. I am leaving this review in case other Kobalt compressors owners experience the same issue. Thanks.

I bought 2 of these and already 1 of them stopped working. Good thing I bought 2 as at least I had a back up. Can't believe for the cost I got junk.!!!!!
