AIRAID Throttle Body SpacerEspaciador de cuerpo de acelerador de AiraidFuel Injection Throttle Body SpacerThe POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance mid-range torque using a patented Helix Bore which spins intake air going through the throttle body spacer. Includes mounting hardware. The POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. The spacer utilizes it's unique, patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. The spinning air action boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber. The end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power.Throttle Body

I installed this along with an Airaid cold air intake in my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited about 6 weeks ago. It took less than an hour to do all of it and was pretty easy. It's got a great sound but not obnoxious. The improvement in power and torque is incredible! I've got a 6 speed manual and I am having to shift down much less than before when passing and going up hills. I think I am seeing an improvement in gas mileage but it's hard to tell for sure as I have been driving much fewer highway miles since I installed and it's tough to stay out of the throttle.

Seems to have a positive impact on my 2007 Jeep Wranglers performance. They shipped in a good time. The throttle body came with the throttle body and four additional screws. Three of the screws were long enough to fit, one of the screws was to short. I had to go to Home Depot and get an additional screw to properly secure the throttle body. So I guess they need to work on there quality control. I didn't contact the seller and I kept the item as an additional $1.97 and a round trip to the nearest Home Depot (50 miles) wasn't worth the hassle.

The installation on 2008 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited only took a short time, maybe 1/2 hour. The problem that I ran into was a hose in the front was in the way a bit, so I had to manage through that. Not impossible, but not plug and play, either. Having installed it, I can hear the whistle that others talk about, but it's not that obvious. It's not like you run down the road and hear this screaming at you. It's in the background, and frankly, my tires make more noise. Now, as far as MPG goes, I really don't see a gain. If anything, and I'm being generous, maybe .5 MPG gain. Maybe. I've had this on for a little over a month and I track my MPG pretty closely. I know what my Jeep will do for mileage and this just didn't give it the MPG boost that others claimed. In terms of getting up and going, anecdotally I think there is a little bit of performance gain there. I don't have any real way to measure that other than 'by the seat of my pants' and my experience in driving my normal routes. It "seems" to be somewhat better, but obviously again, if anything only a small gain. With a lifted Jeep, I'll take any gains I can get. Is it worth the cost? Eh, maybe. Let me put it this way, it doesn't hurt to have it on. But based on my experience, you shouldn't expect this to be awesome -- but rather OK.

This is a great little product. I do get a little more low end on my takeoff. I would probably save even more on the gas mileage if I could keep my foot out of it...

Installed in 09 Wrangler X. 3.8L auto trans.Came well packaged, clean and no nicks. Installed easy and correct to factory fittings. Well made and quality constructions. Downside note, for myself i replaced hardware (nuts/bolts) with my own stainless steel.Performance increase in throttle response and top end efficiency.Using this with dual tip platinum plugs (opened to .65 gap) RedRock air intake, Screamin Demon racing coil, LiveWires plug wires, aFe 2 1/2' exhaust and a SuperChip 3872 FlashPaq I was able to increase my milage from 10 to 19 (highway) running 33" tires on a 3:73 Dana 44 rear end.

Installed on a 2010 JKU and no whistle tho. It was very tight fit. I didnt notice any performance gain tho. The only reason I purchased this throttle spacer because I also purchased an Airaid CAI and a tuner kit and hoping to gain some more HP my 2010 JKU.If you are on a market just for a throttle spacer for your Wrangler and thinking you will get more HP. DON'T make the same mistake I made. For $50 for (Red Billet Aluminum Throttle Body Spacer For 2007-11 Jeep Wrangler 3.8L V6). It looks identical to the Airaid PoweRaid one.
