Application:

Self-locking Ratchet Construction
Pressing the lock will not cause the cutter to rebound. After cutting, the blade of the knife handle springs back to its original position.It is easy to cut and also ensures safety.
Big Opening
The AIRAJ high-performance cutter is equipped with a 42 mm large carbon steel blade of a large opening. The blade is made of high quality carbon steel which has a higher steel content than ordinary steel.The cutter is of high hardness, good toughness, quick and sharp cutting, and is not easy to rust.
Ergonomic Shaped Handle Design
The handle is designed ergonomically and wrapped with soft rubber which is non-slip and wear-resistant, and can relieve hand fatigue
First Step
1. Open the safety lock. Open the handles carefully and use the ratchet spring to open the blade.
Second Step
2. Insert the tube into the blade, and hold the handle and press it tightly. You can use the self-locking ratchet design to adjust the opening size of the knife.
Third Step
3. Clean the blades in time after use or apply protective oil for protection. Please fasten the safety lock in time to ensure safety.

This tool cuts PVC pipes accurately without sawing or leaving plastic powder, and doesn't take a lot of hand strength to use.

This pipe cutter works well, sharp blade etc. Would work better if ratcheting teeth were finer so that it gripped with less movement. I found I had to hold the cutter blade in tension in order to get cutting action, where if I did not, the blade wouldn't engage and I was left pulling the handle without cutting the pipe. As I said, it's a nice heavy tool that works well EXCEPT for the coarseness of the ratcheting bar. Otherwise it's great!

Whether you are collecting overdue loans or cutting PVC pipe, these will get the job done. Of course the first part was humor....these are strictly meant for cutting PVC pipe and they are sharp so be careful. If you have smaller hands, you may need to start the ratcheting action prior to sliding the pipe in place, but with very little pressure, they will cut through the pipe like butter. Best part is they are not plastic and do come with a latch to keep them closed while not in use. Make sure to ratchet them fully closed before putting away. While they are metal, the blade can break if dropped just right.

I only used it for a few pipes. The good is that it cuts through 1/2" pipe easily. The not so wonderful was that in a couple of cases the cuts turned out not straight, i.e., ended up at an angle.
