Listen: if you purchase an Airhead Big Mable, you must buy this too!!Our first time using our 2 passenger Big Mable BEFORE we bought the Orb, the rope dragged in the water and the next thing we knew the tube was sinking in the front and the kids flipped out into choppy water. It was horrible. I had nightmares about it for 4 days, no kidding. We immediately bought the Orb, I thought it was expensive, but it 100% fixed the drag problem and the kids have had a blast tubing ever since. The Orb keeps the rope up out of the water and no one sinks. Added bonus, the Orb includes all the rope you need so if you're buying a tube, skip buying a rope and just buy the Orb!Also, get the airhead pump too, it works great to blow up the Orb in seconds.

This does the job and keeps the rope out of the water, so there isn’t a drag behind the boat when we’re pulling the tube.

Used this to tow a 3 person couch type inflatable at our local lake. The first time we used our tow rope without this product, the inflatable leading edge tended to dig into the water whenever we slowed down.After that first experience, I bought this and the issue of digging in went away other than when first starting up when it would tend to dig in unless we gently sped up with the boat.We used it about 6 hours in total the first time we took it out and the difference between it and a regular tow rope was night and day, keeping the inflatable skimming across the water, with the leading edge well clear. The only downside was the rope was noticeably frayed close to the connection with one of the hooks that attaches it to the boat. There was no reason for this, other than it was in the water and it didn't contact any sharp edges or the prop.I returned it because of the fraying but I would definitely buy another one for the next year's season. It was good value and performed as described, just a shame about the frayed rope.

Worked great until it ripped open at one of the seams and went flat during the first use towing the kids. Sent them a message to resolve and have not heard back. Maybe they’ll resolve it and I’ll change the review if a replacement works ok…

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to go tubing. Last summer, the rope connecting the tube to the boat got caught under the water a lot, which made it a rough ride. I was getting splashed and whipped around, but ever since I got the performance ball, it's been smooth riding! This product is totally worth the money, especially if you go tubing regularly. :)

Makes rope management easier along with allowing for a more efficient take off. My 9 year old didn’t like tubbing at first because of the spray. She now enjoys it.

Awesome purchase very glad I invested in this! We tried tubing on our pontoon with a 90HP and the rope was dragging the tube down and slowing the boat down we also went through a lot of fuel. We got this and what a difference in all of the above! Definitely worth it and the tube rips across the lake now! We did shorten the rope to get more of a wake ride for the riders on our 2 person airhead patriot. Good quality highly recommend! Made from thick material that doesn't take on water like canvas!!

Amazing! Price point was what sold me. We thought we’d give it whirl. And let me tell you we had a 9 year old who was ready to pull the pin this year on tubing. Was tired of our new tube dive bombing into the water when we would let off the throttle. We hoped on Amazon and threw this orb in the cart. Pressed buy. Orb arrived two days early. Blew it up and it’s working exactly as it should. Made one little boy a very happy tuber!

I bought this orb because of the online reviews. Although skeptical at first, I am very impressed with the orb. It keeps the rope out of the water. Works like a charm.

Have only used it once however it worked wonderfully for keeping the rope out of the water thus preventing spray in the face of my son who was in the tube!! If rope spray is happening to your kid then this is a cheap fix rather than installing a wakeboard tower or a ski pole!!

We tow a tube behind a fishing boat and this ball was a game changer. Take offs are faster, we get an overall higher top speed and the tube is now easy to swing left and right out the waves. Since the rope is also higher, the tube attachment point drags less in the water and this prevent water from splashing into the kid's face. This ball is AWESOME. Kids love it.

DO NOT BUY. Used twice then 2 holes developed on the seams of the outer tube. 5 days after the 1 month warranty. They could not be patched as they were on the seams. This is a poorly made product and they do not stand by it with a 1 month return policy. DO NOT BUY.
