Industrial fans are used in workplace environments to exhaust fumes or direct air flow. Most industrial fans have coated metal parts and lubricated motors that are permanently sealed to help protect against environmental hazards, such as dirt and airborne debris or corrosive fumes. They can have fan blade cages that meet workplace safety standards, as well as a variety of mounting mechanisms for precise placement to direct large volumes of air flow. Electronic circuitry for industrial fans matches the power specifications found in the workplace and provides the initial torque needed to start up a large blade fan. Industrial fans are used in warehouses, gyms, and other commercial environments to ventilate spaces and to circulate air.

Airmaster Fan manufactures circulation and ventilation fans for industrial and residential applications. The company, founded in 1886, is headquartered in Jackson, MI.

Ok, so I got a bunch of fans and tested them out. Sizes 18 and 20 inch for my garage in the Texas summer.I wanted powerful, quiet and well built. This fan won and it wasn’t even close. Don’t get me wrong, Lasko makes a great fan also but this fan feels so much stronger and quieter than all others, including a couple 20” I tested. It is still as quiet as the day I got it and it runs 24/7 200+ days a year in my garage. Also when I say quiet, I mean garage gym, can easily talk over it type of quiet…not bedroom silence (cuz that’s a different brand/review). I just don’t want someone thinking this is quiet for sleeping. I mean it is if you love white noise and hurricane force winds, then go for it.The main thing though is that it MOVES AIR. There are fans that might be higher RPM or other marketing metrics but the cubic feet per minute moved by this thing is absurd. It doesn’t get any wind whistle or harmonic vibrations, just the sound of the fan blades moving a ton of air.So yeah, it’s expensive but it’s solid high quality metal and it’s actually made here in the USA so it really does feel bombproof.10 out of 5 stars, just buy this one.
