The problem is that because there is no firm base, the feet roll to the middle and sit on top of each other. It could be easily rectified with a small rectangle of firm cardboard or plastic to make a platform for the feet to rest on.

I take long haul flights three times a year and my first time trying out this product on the flight. It made a big difference. It leveled my legs and my feet for the first time were not swollen after more than 14 hours flight. It was amazing. But beware if you are tall and if your carrier seat has limited space. My son is 6 feet and aren’t able to use this. We were sitting on premium economic class which is already a roomier seat.

I haven't used these on an airplane yet but I just recieved them and one of the buckles is smaller than the other and doesn't work. So one is the correct size and snaps closed but the other one is too small and just pops open with the lightest touch.

Oh my gosh these are fantastic, my plane ride abroad was so much more comfortable just by having this to lift my legs-you can't use them like the picture shows, there is not enough room on a plane but you can rest your feet on them so that you have less strain on your lower back.

The foot hammock provides some options for your feet position during longer flights and that's usually 4 hours and longer for me. You have to have a seat in front of you to drape it around the tray table, adjust, and place your feet on the hammock. It's fairly easy to setup and adjust.There's been some compromises made to make this roll up, so you'll not have a firm base as other hammocks have and it's a tradeoff. Does it offer comfort? Yes, in that it provides a various option to adjust yourself as staying in a single position can be tiring during longer flights.I received two hammocks and while my wife is up in the air about it, I generally like to keep my feet up when I'm sitting down so these are handy, especially if you can get an economy plus seat that provides a bit of more room to really allow you to stretch your legs out further.As per build quality, I have not noticed any parts falling apart though the plastic clips may be an issue in the future, but I'm usually careful and not aggressively dropping my feet down.It's portable and I would say it's a worthwhile investment, especially at the cost.
