These flickering solar lights are pretty cool, hopefully my neighbors don't think my yard is on fire and call the fire department lol. This is a set of six so you can use them to light a walkway or fence line, etc. They absorb sunlight during the day and then turn on automatically when the sun goes down. You do have to turn them on when you first put them up and then they are pretty much set it and forget it. These were easy to put together and stake into the ground. They seem like they will stand up to the weather pretty well. Would be great for a tiki party or tropical themed backyard bar area.

While these aren’t as large as expected they do add a novel touch to the yard. After a good sunny day, they last about 10 hours. They give the look of a tiki torch without the danger. Nothing that could get knocked over or fuel that could be spilled. All you need to do is charge them and they will come on every night like clockwork. The steaks are a little longer than usual, which is apropos for a tiki torch. The housing is strong and waterproof, and they have held up very well in the weather weather

I have a similar set I purchased on Amazon a few years ago and they have performed well and was looking to add to my Halloween display and decided you can never have too many lights.I like the torch like dance of the lights, and especially the set and forget powering using solar. It did take me a minute to figure out how to activate these (you have to unscrew the top and flip the switch) Once I did that, those puppies charged right up and stayed lit most of the night. I had them sitting on the grill on the deck and my wife actually thought the grill was on fire... although I would not go that far to say that it looks like a fire, but they do a good job of looking like a torch.

These lights are really pretty and I think they do a pretty good job of mimicking the flicker of torchlight. They aren't bright lights by any means. They're more of an accent light rather than a light meant to actually see by (task lighting) or a light for security purposes. When I received them, I handed the box to my husband to deal with as I was busy. He set them up in a cluster in the backyard to catch the last few hours of sunlight to charge. Later that night, he remembered that the lawn service was coming the following day so he pulled them from the grass and laid them on the patio out of their way. That's when I took the attached picture. As you can see, one light isn't lit and it still doesn't work. Not sure if the light is defective or if it's a bad battery. Hopefully it's nothing that a new battery won't fix. They look great in the flowerbeds around our pool. Love them!
