I got this preamp, to boost the output volume of my Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB turntable. The problem is I can't put the turntable on my entertainment center close to the receiver, because I can't open the cover. So I have it on another stand which is close, but I have to use a 15 foot cable, to connect it to the receiver.The turntable has a preamp built in, and my Onkyo receiver has a phono input. If I connect it directly to the phono input, I have to turn the volume way up. And if I use the preamp in the turntable and connect it to a line level input on the receiver it helps a bit. But it doesn't sound that good, and I still have to turn the volume up.So I purchased the AIYIMA T3 PRO MM/MC phono preamp hoping it would help which it did, and my turntable sounds better now.The preamp has an aluminum housing, and is well made and very sturdy. The knobs are aluminum too, and they have a slight click, at each adjustment. It has dip switches on the bottom, allowing you to use either MM or MC cartridges. And the on/off switch is a great feature, so you don't have to leave it on all the time.If you are looking to purchase a phone preamp, I would suggest you give this one a try, It's affordable, and it works really good.

I needed a phono preamp with volume control to sit between my Technics SL-1800 table and my two mono-block Fosi ZA3 amps. This fit the bill because it offers volume control and a high pass filter at a good price. I can’t hear any hum at all with the T3 Pro on and no music playing. Sound quality seems reasonable too. No complaints!

This preamp is nice! It looks and feels great quality and well made. It’s easy to use, even for a newbie like me. The improvement in sound is surprising! I am happy with this preamp, and I hope to get more out of it as I learn more!

This phono preamp will likely be fine for many users with standard Audio Technica or Ortofon cartridges, etc. But if you're using higher end moving magnet or moving coil cartridges, not so much. Max gain is 39 dB. I have higher end MM and high output MC cartridges and this just doesn't cut it. For a cartridge with 2-2.5 mV output, ideally you need 42-44 dB gain and minimum of 40 dB gain. You'll not only have to turn up the volume on your amp for decent audible output level, but improper gain causes loss of cartridge design...separation, soundstage, impedance, balance, etc.

Tried three different preamps, two were much cheaper but it seems you get what you pay for. Using for turntable preamp into active speakers. Vinyl sounds really good, you can adjust the gain which is critical. This one is really good. Clear audio and no clipping. Highly recommended. Much better than the ones going for half the price. The cheaper ones were all distorting.

Tengo un plato bastante malilla que me regalaron, y querÃa conectarme a un sistema de audio que tengo montado con un Denon X4700 y altavoces Dalà por curiosidadProbé algún preamp de un valor similar que tuve que acabar devolviendo porque la señal era malÃsima (causada por el plato principalmente), pero con este aparatito he conseguido regular algo el sonido para llegar a escuchable teniendo en cuenta la fuente.Por tanto si tenéis un plato decente os recomendarÃa probarlo, ya que si yo he conseguido mejorar lo que en principio era desastroso, seguro que se le puede sacar mucha chicha, ya que capacidad tiene y es muy configurableTiene una sólida calidad de construcción, botón de apagado {que varios carecen de él) y da juego

Ich habe das den Phono-Verstärker AIYIMA T3PRO gekauft um meinen Kennwod KD-7010 an meinem AV-Receiver Pioneer VSX-830 zu betreiben. Der VSX hat keinen dezidierten Phonoeingang.Mein bisher eingesetzter Phono-Vorverstärker hatte folgende Nachteile1. geringe Lautstärke, der AV-Receiver musste extrem laut gestellt werden, wenn ich Schallplatten hören wollte.2. am bisheriger Phono-Vorverstärker ist nur der Einsatz von MM-Tonabnehmersystemen möglich.Der AIYIMA T3Pro ist für MM und MC Tonabnehmersysteme geeignet und hat Regler für Gain und Ausgangs-Volumen. Die Einschränkungen gehören somit der Vergangenheit an.Das Produkt wird in gut schützender Verpackung geliefert. Der AIYIMA T3Pro ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, dass gesamte Gehäuse, Gain- und Volumen Switche sowie der Power Schalter sind ebenfalls aus Metall. Großartig!Anfangs war ich ernüchtert, das Netzteil (12V AC, 500mAH) erzeugte mit zunehmender Betriebsdauer immer lauter werdende Brummgeräusche.Ich habe den Kundenservice mit der Bitte um Klärung gebeten und bin noch nie so positiv überrascht worden. Innerhalb weniger Stunden hatte ich Kontakt mit dem Kundendienst und um mein Anliegen wurde sich vorbildlich gekümmert. AIYIMA bot mir umgehend die Übersendung eines neuen Netzteils an, welches auch innerhalb einer Woche kostenfrei geliefert wurde. Und das brummen hat ein Ende!Neben der wertigen Verarbeitung ist die Kundenbetreuung für mich der Grund, bei jeder Neuanschaffung im Hifi-Bereich zuerst bei AIYIMA zu suchen. Ich kann das Gerät und die Firma nur empfehlen!
