Bought it mainly to spray our snow shovels and to keep the car windows from freezing up and it's worked well so far.

Upfront disclosure: I received this product through the Amazon Vine program.Ok, now every time I start talking seriously about lubricants and their applications there is always someone who starts giggling...and then a few days later I get a call because something they have is stuck...never fails. The right lubricant for the job is so important. Chemists and engineers have spent hundreds of years designing lubricants for specific applications. Oil based lubricants are great, but they attract dust and conjeal. They also have to be the right viscosity and often need to be cleaned up and re-applied. They can also require sealed applications or constant, recirculating application with in specific temperature ranges to work well. There is a well known product that comes in spray form as a lubricant that a lot of people love, myself included. It will unstick parts, and lubricate things nicely. But in a few months you have to clean up the parts and do it again or the lubricant will just gum up the works. Graphite lubricants are great in applications like locks because they don't gum up and are very slippery for sliding parts (like keys and lock pins). Not so great in applications where there is more movement. Parts that slide and move on rails often seem to benefit from silicone lubricants over machine type oils. The silicone lubricants seem to offer better protection and longer life between cleanings and applications. Because of this I often use this type of lubricant on my door hinges, 3D printers (at home and at work), electronic motor drive gears and rails, my air-soft pistols, etc. Basically silicone lubricant is my go to. This is exactly what I expect. A sprayable lubricant that is easy to apply, clings well and works with a fine coating. Great buy in my book.
