Helpful Tip:
To prevent jamming, ensure you select the appropriate rivet head for your rivets. In the event of a broken rivet getting stuck, simply install the largest size rivet head, open the handles, and the stem will automatically fall out.

Bought this to put a 1/4" rivet on a hood lock and it worked perfectly. I've only used it a handfull of times on other smaller rivet projects, but it's nice to have one tool that works for big rivets as well as small. If you want to buy a guy a tool as a gift, and they know what a rivet is, you could do a lot worse than this. Can only recommend.

Bought to change out motor in vehicle door - needed some rivets. This was exactly what I needed and it worked perfectly. I've put it in the workshop for future use.

I had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to acquire this tool for a while, specifically to work with the 3/16 and 1/4 sizes needed for various repairs. I had been relying on a smaller hand-held Pop Rivet Gun for over 20 years, but it couldn't accommodate these larger sizes. Finally, I got my hands on this new tool, and it has proven to be exceptional.Contrary to my initial expectations, using this tool requires minimal effort. Its long handles provide a comfortable grip, ensuring smooth operation. As soon as I received the tool, I put it to work on a metal storage cabinet that had loose or missing rivets. Surprisingly, the tool effortlessly handled the task with great leverage. Even the 3/16" rivets posed no challenge; with just two hands, I set and popped them effortlessly. This product is well built - no plastic, all steel, heavy weight. So I was excited to give it a try. Put in a large rivet, easily compressed the rivet. The long arms really give an advantage which I need as I'm replacing large stainless steel rivets.Only one problem. The cut stem of the rivet was stuck - it's supposed to fall into the plastic bottle. I tried loosening it according to instructions in the manual but that didn't work. So I took a blunt point long nose plier and pushed on the rivet and it fairly easily dropped into the bottle. BUT now my pliers are stuck in the tool and will not budge. See pictures. Nothing I've tried will loosen the pliers. I'm guessing they're stuck in the "claws" that pull the rivet.The whole tool appears so well built and the instruction manual is well written, I have to believe this is a rare flaw in the tool and have reordered the same tool. When that one works as it should, I will amend this review to 5 stars.

I actually needed this to put on a couple of license plate holders using 1/4" rivets on a couple of vehicles. It worked flawlessly. Now I use it for many different applications, and it still works great. Once you insert the rivet in the tool with the arms open, you have to "pump" it several times to complete the rivet install. You know it is working when you feel the rivet stem pulling along and eventually breaking off into the bottle. It is a well-made tool and has great action.

I needed to re-rivet the seat pedestal in my aluminum boat, and didn't have either a rivet or a tool to install one with.The AKKTOL rivet tool works, and works well, and the included rivets are top-notch. It was so much fun, I'm looking around for other projects that would benefit from adding a few rivets!This is a useful addition to my toolbox, and I can recommend it unequivocally!

Best pop rivet tool I've ever used. This is my fourth pop rivet tool and the first one I've had no issues with. The tool is exceptionally well made and easy to use. I would recommend it over any other. The minor issue (not with tool itself) was quickly fixed by great customer service.
