I bought these torches thinking my angry mob group could help save the environment by using solar powered! Little did I know, they don’t have the same effect as a real torch! I will say it flickers like the real deal and very easy to assemble. Battery life has been nice and adds a great look to my angry mob. Gotta score it 5/5 for the yard 0/5 for angry mob use

They look great at night. They come on just as its getting dark and they are still on just before sunrise. As the days get shorter and the nights get longer I don't know if they will get enough sun to keep doing that, but they will still come on in the evening long enough for us to enjoy them on the patio. Actually, if they had a setting where they would only stay on for 3 or 4 hours I would just use that.I ordered the 12-Pack of Solar Outdoor Lights for Garden Decorations with Flickering Flame (Upgraded Super Bright), and they all worked out of the box. There were no missing parts or pieces. I shut them off and left them standing in a 5 gallon bucket for a full sunny day before putting them to use.They look good during the day, but of course they look great after dark. The quality is good, but you should use a little care when pushing them into the ground. I used a large screw driver to make a pilot hole to push the stakes into. I think the price was great for this product. If I need more I will buy them again.Update 4/15/24. These lights, every one of them, are still working and with a moderately sunny day they stay on until sunup! I love these lights! Great product!

First off, these are really awesome. That said, I only gave them 4 stars because they're not quite as bright as I had hoped, BUT, they are still really nice lights. They look great at night in our Halloween display, just like real fire, and I even ordered a second set. Some folks have had bag luck with one or two in the set not working, but I got 24 and all of them worked just fine. I'd recommend these lights anytime.

This is the second set of these lights that I have bought. The first were purple and I liked them so much I ordered a different color. They are a warm yellow orange color when lit up. They don't look like fire from the road but they are pretty and match well with my warm settings on my hanging lights. I have broken one of the lights because the ground is hard here and when I tried to adjust the middle tube kind of crumbled apart. The lights come in three separate pieces and are easily assembled. They are bright and add enough light to light up a pathway. They are solar powered so make sure they get enough sun. I'm thinking about buying more in different colors. I wish these came with the feature that allows you to change colors.

Bought these to light a path up to the house for trick or treaters. They are fun and add an element of spooky with the purple glow. 4 stars only because one came busted and another doesn't light up, but with 12 to the pack I was happy enough that 10 worked.
