Very accurate for clear alcohol. Any disolvents, especially sugars, will affect results. Tested on liqueur (not liquor), was of greatly.

I followed the instructions and calibration was easy. Added a few drops of water, adjusted until meter was blue above the zero line. It’s very easy to use. I’m making Romanian sour cherry wine. (Add alcohol to fermented sour cherry syrup). When testing the wine after alcohol was added, the entire meter went white. As if alcohol content is greater than 80%. This isn’t accurate. So I tested a batch before alcohol was added. Same thing. Entire meter went white. I can get the mix fairly close to where I want it by taste. It should be around 24%. I tried this tool several times without success (same results), and will need to return it. It apparently works for other types of alcoholic beverages - based on other reviews
That’s all folks
