I was having trouble finding the standing desk I needed. Motorized ones seemed to be prone to breaking) or else being very expensive, and crank-operated ones seem annoying. Pneumatic mechanisms make for a smooth, quick up and down. But most pneumatic desks on the market are smaller, and I wanted to fit a 60†desk so I could fit two monitors and a laptop across it. This desk does that perfectly!It’s very solid construction, so it’s quite heavy—but that means it’s stable even when extended all the way. I paired it with a 60x24 inch tabletop, which just fits, so don’t go smaller in either dimension. It’s easy to move up and down, but as it gets weighed down with stuff on top, it does require a light to moderate lift by the user to raise up.

I bought this for my wife, she likes to sew. Cutting out material on a low table is hard when you're tall. This is a great back saver, she loves it! I bought it a little too long, but with moderate skill and an angle grinder, it took an hour to shorten the length. This is a great product!
