I really like this series of furniture. I have purchased four completes desks. They look great and are pretty good quality. Laminate beats that wall paper stuff all day! These are still particle board but the laminate that covers them is great. Just like laminate countertops. Will last a very long time. Great color and easy to assemble. Very pleased and will buy more. One part came in broke but they were quick to respond and sent a new one right away. Great service!!

The Return was easy to assemble, and fit perfectly with the desk and file cabinet. The instructions are very confusing, but we were able to figure it out. Took about 20 minutes The photo above is a bit misleading. There is a solid panel on the backside of the return. It can go on the left side of the desk or the right side and is attached by brackets. Tighten the brackets only once though, or they will strip. It was engineered well to complement the desk (Aleva 327236MY). The working surface is 47" long and a desk space, (the depth) of 24", enough for a printer, scanner and a laptop, but not a desktop monitor and keyboard. It weighed in at 82 pounds when delivered, we purchased 2 Packaging was excellent, with no issues.

My husband asked me to make sure I reviewed this desk. We bought the 72' desk, the 48' return and the 3 draw matching cabinet together. My husband said this is hands down the best quality desk that he has ever put together, and he works in IT, so he's put together a ton! It took him very little time to assemble, and all of the pieces are super sturdy and high quality. No chipping paint, or flaking particle board on these puppies! I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now, and I couldn't be happier. I have enough space for three computers with 28" monitors, and still plenty of room for my books and various items. I love how the pieces go almost all of the way to the floor. There is only about an inch or two at the bottom...just enough to help with air flow (you don't want a hot computer), but hides all of the ugly wires. I can't recommend this desk series enough!

This desk would probably work on its own as a side desk -- but I brought it with the full pedestal (VA532822MY) and reception desk (ALEVA327236MY). The return can be put on the left or right and has it's own cable wire grommet. I received all the items in 1 day of shipping! It was put together easily but Amazon home services and I couldn't be happier! It looks great in my job's office.

We had a small space for two desks: only 4 feet wide. You can't see it in the photos but there is another panel to support the top. We're using it as a desk, not a return. So we have the one panel externally and we bolted the other side to studs in the wall to make compact, sturdy desks. We also purchased the Alera hutches, doors and keyboard trays and now have some nice workstations to fit in a tight space. Works out great. NIce looking, sturdy and easy to assemble.

This was just what I needed to connect my desk and credenza, it was easy to attach and it gives me an extra 36" of work space that was desperately needed. It is extremely sturdy and looks amazing.
