This is an excellent book to work with for the young beginner on the piano. The book is simple and to the point. It is also easy to understand designed for the young beginner.

Got this for my kids 6yrs and 11 yrs who have never played before. They are doing great with these books and this one in particular is one that teaches with easy to comprehend methods. I do feel like it could have been written better for quick learners, but still a great book for the price.

I am a piano teacher and have used this book series for boys starting piano at ages 9 and 10. It is perfect for this age level and gender.
