Full string set includes: A-1st, D-2nd, G-3rd, C-4th. Strings are made of steel core with Ni-Fe alloy winding, nickel-plated ball-end. It is less sensitive to humidity and temperature changes. Cupronickel winding delivers a warm and forceful timbre. Suitable for 16" size violas, especially for beginners practice.

They seem fine to me. I would think someone in the New York Philharmonic would get something a little better. But for me, practicing at home, they are fine.

This package of 4 viola strings (A, D, G, C) are for a 16" (full size) viola. Not the most beautiful sound, but would be great for a practice viola.Recommended.

What I like about these strings is that they are perfectly good for a replacement in the moment string. They are a great price point and will allow me to keep playing if something breaks until I can get a higher quality one. You can't beat having a full replacement set for under $20 to hold you (or a fellow violist) through.

The strings sounded really bad would never order again. Had to replaced these with different ones
