Well made shelf brackets. I installed them with the wall side above an oak shelf which was a nominal 8" deep (7.5" actual depth) and behind the books. The 3 mm thickness of the 6" x 4" brackets were not strong enough for heavier books so the shelf and the shelf drooped down slightly. I had to add some additional support in the corners of the shelf to reduce the dropping. The thickness may be strong enough for the storage of less heavy objects. Perhaps the thicker brackets would be strong enough for books.

The paint job on these was flawless. I purchased the white. They are very heavy and sturdy. I think they would hold more weight than the description. The packaging was very impressive. Inside the padded Amazon envelope was a very sturdy box. The brackets were inside that box inside of foam pockets and they came with all the screws and anchors one might need for mounting. Very happy with the purchase which was very reasonably priced. And, again, the paint job was flawless!

We used these to support under our stained boards. They look amazing against my faux brick wall. Ample support. Very sturdy. Could be used with white or black shelving to give more of a modern chic look.

It's solid, good finished, but it's not quite square the angle is not a perfect 90 degrees, if using it for shelf, the top part will have a little gap not flush on the wall, if using this to reinforce a frame, box, or anything that is 90 degrees, it will need some adjustments which is not easy, but it's possible, think twice before buying,.I measured all four with a square ruler, and they are all identical, at least the manufacturing is consistent on imperfections, I used to work in a machine shop, there should be a Guage of some sort or measuring deviceto measure the angle of the material after it went through a bender.
