When activated, Stannic Chloride is a white colorless gas with a pungent odor. It fumes strongly in moist air forming white hydrochloric acid fume. The emitted tin compound has a strong odor that will provoke an involuntary reaction (i.e. coughing) by the test subject.

In my opinion, these are the best option for fit testing. Stop those that try to sneak under the radar, there’s absolutely no way to fake it with the irritant smoke.

I work for a training organization that respirator and environmental training. We use Allegro smoke tubes in every class. We have never had a problem with them.

This tubes work well but I was expecting more tubes inside this box. Good yield on these tubes and good shelf life.
