So I live in northern part of the US and I run 15,000 acres in Nebraska/Wyoming.The roads are rough. Yes for $20 your not expecting a lot but that’s a $1500 rifle. Howa 1500 6.5 Creedmoor. I trust it to hold that rifle if you install this correctly it does a great job! You have a little what looks like movement from side to side but it’s them being flimsy I’m going to put a brace in between them for sure. I would recommend this 100% I’m not endorsed but Allen or amazon and I’m not being paid to write this review I’m a rancher and this thing is perfect for the money.

My truck is a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Single Cab.I would like to say that I am thankful this product is CHEAP. Else I would be frustrated for sure.On my truck, the top set of hooks are so HIGH, that they almost touch the ceiling and thus are totally unusable.I took my smallest firearm I own, "Remington Model Seven Threaded Kuiu", (Google this firearm and you tell me if you think its too large) and tried hanging it in the window.Take a look at the photos. The rear stock only fits in the hanger in ONE spot. and you better have a thin stock. And even as thin as the barrel and foregrip is on this particular Model 7 firearm, It will not fit into the hook. So its very snug.Any firearm you choose to use better be smaller than the Remington Model 7 or it just will not fit.AR15s Fit fine, but only on the bottom hooks. Again the top hooks are just too close to the ceiling to put anything in.It works, but only on the bottom hooks, so since only 1 out of 2 hooks is actually usable, And the hooks are so small that only the thinnest of all firearms can fit in it. I cant in good faith put a rating higher than 50% of 5 stars.The hooks could be larger and wider and VERY LOWER. No idea why they are so high.

Not the tightest fit but they keep my fishing poles in place. I would not trust them with my rifles on a bumpy road.

This rack for the rear truck window seems to be of pretty decent quality, though I did question its ability to securely hold a its intended load if the truck is on a rough trail... woefully, I shall likely never know.The rack pieces were fairly easy to adjust for proper fitment in the intended 2012 Silverado REGULAR CAB pickup truck. But... we quickly discovered that the design of rack wouldn't allow for carriage of any long loads in the rack without moving the seats forward and/or removing the seat head rests. The passengers' (and driver's) heads (and the head rests when the seat(s) is/are positioned back near the rear cab wall) would be constantly touching and or hitting whatever is loaded in the rack.I had thought that I was going to outsmart the limited space in the cab by hanging my snow brush/ice scraper on this thing... but forgot to account for the protrusion of the rack and the racked item into the cab from the rear window. Please don't be like me, and remember to consider that 4-6 inches before you order.I will not fault the rack for my error, and give it 5-stars, as I am unable to review without a score.I think I'll pass this rack on to a friend who might find a use for it.

Wasn’t here by promised time and that happened multiple times. Amazon hides under the couch and won’t allow negative reviews about them so this is as close as I can get. Now for the product. Very flimsy but I think it will work for what I need it for. Or it would have if it would have shown up on time. I would never buy it again and I would recommend it to no one.

Perhaps these racks will work if you stay on smooth roads. Once loaded however, they flex and pop out of the window frame when loaded with two rifles. Cheap in price, but not suitable for off-road driving. I'll get metal ones instead of plastic ones.
