Great for hanging and processing deer. The pulley system can be confusing. But all in all great for everything except large cervid species.

Hangs deer ! What more do you expect, low price works fine, happy!The pulley system works as a brake, but directions on stringing it up are wrong, easy to correct, google if you must.

I bought this on an impulse to have something to lift heavy equipment (less then 200lbs) into the back of the truck and, I had to wait a very long time to get it. When it arrived, the package was opened and not close and new like the one I bought but, for the price I didn't want to start a return and wait God knows how long to get a replacement.First thing I noticed was the plastic pulleys. It says the rig will handle up to 440lb but, to tell you the truth, I don't beleive it. Maybe 1 time will be no problem and only if used to lift and skin a big game but, if you are going to use it at least once a week, must likely the plastic pulleys will break.I have seen the same rig at stores like Harbor Freight listed for the same weight but those have metal pulleys instead of plastic ones.

I purchased this but have not used it yet, no time to hunt lately. It appears very solid and easy to assemble. I saw this exact set at USAFB for $25 more than I paid here. I am happy with this purchase, just gotta get out and USE it!!

Made hanging a deer up a lot easier! I would highly recommend especially if you do everything by yourself!

If you hunt I am not sure how you live without one of these. This item allows me to field dress and even butcher my kill right in the woods, greatly reducing the weight I have to haul back to the vehicle and allows me to get the meat on ice in a very timely manner. Not to mention there is not always a dressing station nearby depending on where you hunt or the state you live in. This was a great buy that I recommend for anyone who hunts medium to large frequently

This was truly awful in every respect. It claims to be for use up to 440 lbs but on its first (and only) outing I was hoisting an adult fallow doe. I connected it exactly as directed and on the first lift the hook it all hangs from straightened out and it all dropped. I reattached the rope over the tree branch to the upper pulley and re-lifted - one of the bars which holds the pulleys in place broke dropping it all again!! When i contacted the supplying company Riverside Outdoors they were excellent and without any quibble refunded the cost the same day so well done to them at least. Getting hold of the US makers/supplier (Allen) is not easy and I don't expect to get any replies so lesson learned i suppose.
