How do I apply Allerpet to my pet?
Allerpet is easy to use on all animals with fur or feathers. We recommend using the Allerpet mitt to apply onto fur once a week. For birds, carefully spray onto feathers. Allerpet is non-oily and will not leave a sticky residue on the coat or feathers. Since perfume can trigger allergic reactions, Allerpet contains no fragrance. It is safe and non-toxic to pets, regardless of how frequently an animal licks its coat.
What causes allergies to pets?
People experience reactions to their pets' saliva, dander (or dead skin flakes), secretions of the sebaceous skin glands and urine residue which get stuck in their pets' hair. As the pet moves around, these allergens can become air-born. This means that all dogs and cats: purebred, mixed-breed, short-haired, long-haired, curly-haired and even hairless dogs and cats can, and usually do, trigger symptoms.

I’ve always been a little sensitive to cats but I absolutely love them and often adjust to them after a while. I adopted a very active 1.5 year old cat who got hair (and dander) everyyyyywhere. I started having red eyes, itchy throat, and a runny nose after 4 days of having her. I overnighted this product after doing extensiveeee online research. Applied it on day 6 at 4 pm and I felt better by 9 pm! Here was my technique after reading the instructions and reviews: I had 6 greenies dental chews on a shelf next to me, shook the bottle then opened it and shook it onto the blue mitt. I put on the brush gloves and fed her 3 treats 1 by 1 while brushing her. Then I put on the blue mitt and fed her the other 3 treats while I rubbed her head to toe (avoiding eyes) including underneath her top to bottom. After that she seemed a little upset so I fed her another 2 greenies while petting her with my hand so she’ll remember it being a fun time for next round! Her coat is so soft and yeah now on day 7 and I slept with her next to my face :) no reaction at all. I really cannot believe it. I’ll be applying it every 4-7 days until the bottle runs out then we’ll see if the reactions come back!

I was extremely impressed with this product. I bought it for my parents and our family cat Nala that lives in the basement. Our friend and neighbor who visits frequently is very allergic and can’t go near Nala. Since they started using allerpet, she has been able to be around and even sit next to Nala every single time she is over. This is incredible.They apply the allerpet once a week and use the brushing gloves as needed. You can visibly see the lack of dander on Nala since they started using this product. It is high quality, safe ingredients, and easy to use.The brushing gloves work amazing as well and it’s very satisfying to see all of the hair and dirt that comes off so quickly! They also use them on my brothers Rottweiler and they work just as well on him.This is a amazing product and it will be ordered again as soon as it runs out. I highly recommend for any cat or dog owners!!!

I don't write reviews but I have to say this kit has transformed my elder cat she feels so much better. First use with the gloves I had two giacantic sizes balls of hair/dander come off her. Lastly the allerpet solution made her coat shiny and she allowed me to use it which right there speaks for itself because she doesn't like anything wet on her. So far so good

Works like a charm! My family is not allergic but we have friend and relatives come over all the time that have cat allergies. We tried this anti allergen solution and it does the trick. No more itchy eyes and runny noses for guests! I love that it comes with two grooming gloves which is big bonus and a really great value. Also a little bit goes a long way with this stuff so I'm happy and would definitely recommend it. 5 stars all the way!!

My cat will jump on foot stool when I put gloves on to get a rub down. You will be amazed how much loose fur! I use vacuum to remove fur from gloves, cat doesn't like that.

I’m no scientist but I haven’t sneezed as much so I’m assuming it’s helped atleast a bit. I love the brush glove, my cat isn’t the biggest fan of it but he tolerates it which works for me. He is noticeable softer which is nice. This doesn’t really have a smell when applying it (I haven’t sniffed the bottle itself). Also all items are super easy to clean. I throw them all in the washer and they're fine but the gloves can be sink cleaned if wanted (follow whatever the instructions say but this is what I did)

This kit works well. It's a little tricky to get the hair off of the gloves but it does a good job getting it off. We have tried lots of alternatives but this one seems to be working the best. The cats don't mind the spray either. I am seeing some improvement in allergies as well, we've been using it for over a month now. Still with cats, I don't think there is a way to get all of the hair but this does a decent job!
