I learned a long time ago that I am allergic to the dander of all sorts of animals and had assumed that dog ownership would be impossible. But, that was BEFORE I became acquainted with "Allerpet"-- a most WONDERFUL and AMAZING product!As soon as I became aware of Allerpet, I immediately ordered it and tried it out on a previous female puppy dog whom I had come to realized was, indeed, NOT "HYPO-ALLERGIC"! I had zero idea about whether or not the Allerpet would work well enough to solve the allergy problems I was having with "Isabel". I read all of the directions and decided to apply the Allerpet with a thin 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" square piece of sponge that I had cut out with a scissors for that purpose. First I thoroughly brushed out Isabel to eliminate as much loose hair and dander as possible. Then, I fairly quickly went over her scalp area as well as her hair. Neither she nor I had any problems at all with Allerpet, and for the following 15 years, the Allpet worked for us like magic!And, when the time came that we chose our little boy, Milo, I had already ordered at least one new bottle of Allerpet that would be available when Milo was old enough and ready for it ! To this day (almost two years later), we are still using Allerpet--for Milo; and sometimes, we need to use it about every 4 days (applied just a little bit more lightly). But, it works as they say, "just like a charm" every time! As a child, I KNEW that having a dog was totally out of the question, but thanks to Allerpet, I have had that privilege as an adult TWICE! Thus, I would highly recommend Allerpet for solving the allergy problems that many human beings encounter with dogs and other animals!

Keeps dogs clean and smelling good. Wash em once a week with no skin issues.

With two dogs that shed a lot, I was really happy to find this. Gave them a good brush and put this on. It seemed to help their itchiness too that comes from long, dry winters.

It works well on my dog. She produces dander at an incredible rate. So much in fact her previous owners surrendered her to a shelter. It took me a while to figure out what was going on but now, I know. I tried combing, brushing and bathing with limited success. I actually started with the cat specific formulation until I learned of this one for dogs.

My husband and I AND our loving little poochie are moving to Maui to be with our daughter and her soon to be husband. Unfortunately her fiance is allergic to pet dander. Thus, we are using this product with high hopes that it will indeed take care of the dander. We are starting this process now...4 weeks away from our move and will know more about how it works when we get over there. Thank you for making a product that (hopefully) removes dander!!!

When I started using this, I got severely sick and had to call off work for several days. Had no clue why until my husband read the ingredients for this on a whim.Would have never guessed that this was causing my problems. They need to be more forthright about this product having one of the most common allergens in the world. If you have a wheat allergy/celiac, here's your warning. Don't suffer like I did

Easy to use- just wiped on my dog with a washcloth. I remembered this product from years ago when I used it for my allergies to a new dog. I thought I would try again for when my allergic son came to watch our dog for several days. He said it seemed to help😃 so I will continue to use it whenever he comes over. I highly recommend this for people with pet allergies!
