If you have tried on different brand softball pants you or your child understands that they very greatly in size. This brand is my go to for my daughter. She is a true size 12 and I was able to order them without even trying them on. They are durable and she wears them often.

These are for children, not teens. I purchased the XL for my 10-year old in 2021. She is thin and tall. She is now 12 and stands 5' and cannot get them on over her hips. They lasted two years and were her favorite softball pants to wear. I definitely now own a measuring tape to measure her waist hips and length before ordering online. Has helped to get a closer size without having to return.

The sizing chart was bizarrely mislabeled, as a waist measurement for a 10-11yo was listed as a 12. Twelve what?? Certainly not inches. I ordered a medium for my size 10 child. It was WAY too small; she couldn't even pull them up to her waist or inseam. The quality of the item was not disappointing; I would have purchased this item again in a larger size until I got ripped on the return process. When I tried to return them, I was informed that the $5.15 shipping fee would be extracted from my return, and that a 20% restocking fee applied. This is not why I PAY EXTRA for Amazon Prime, and this is not my first FAIL on returns with Amazon, all within the return window.

I love that these are made especially for girls/women. The size chart led us to the correct size for my daughter and they fit like a glove. Great stretch all around, and stains come out easily. In my search for the best, girl specific softball pant I'm glad I found these.

These pants are a good quality and color. My daughter is tall and thin, weighing about 54 lbs. She generally wears a size 6/7 kids in pants. The openings for the legs near the calves are so extremely tight. They really aren't usable. The waist is fine though.
