I got this item as gift for a dino-loving friend, this cast was a huge hit. It's hefty and feels like real stone, adding a sense of authenticity (and weight!) that cheaper plastic replicas lack. The packaging is fantastic, it included a nice info card about Allosaurus and the Morrison Formation where the claw was found. I found it informative and giftable, which was especially great because I didn't have to memorize all the dino details I'm a bit fuzzy on... 😅Most importantly, the detail on the cast is incredible - you can see every ridge and curve of the original fossil. It's clear this company cares about quality! Highly recommend this seller and their castings for any fossil or dinosaur enthusiast!

This was the coolest gift ever for a 5 year old boy who is obsessed with Allosaurus'. Now is it a real replica of an Allosaurus claw? No clue - def not a scientist. Does my 5 year nephew think it is because it's labeled as such - YES HE DOES. Did Auntie nail Christmas because of it - YES I DID! This is a good gift and it's not cheap feeling, looking, or light weighted at all. It's very well done.

My 4yo grandson is very into dinosaurs. He loves the "claw". it is very realistic. And I like that it was made in the USA.

I ordered 2 and they where slightly different made it a bit better for my use, we buried them in the woods then had the kids dig them up. They loved it. Great item! Ask me a question if ya have one

Its still an interesting object. They include a brief history of the cast. It being from a specimen in Utah. All in all worth the price for a glimpse into the past.
