This cable length meter can be used to measure spooled wire (or cable).
After you connect the meter to the two ends of the wire to be measured, the display will indicate the length of the wire quickly.
In addition, the meter can measure resistance accurately.
It Is a very useful tool for wire/cable retailer, electricity department,electrical contractors, building trades, and etc.

This product is amazing. You can take a spool of wire, measure off 100ft and calibrate the tester, then measure the whole roll and it will give you a number of feet left. SOOOOOOO much better than estimating how much is there.We use the custom settings and put a sticker on the reals of which custom setting to use. Very easy.Would gladly give it 5 stars, but the wire gauge is not US standard but metric.

Lost the copper pice that is used to calibrate and have not been able to use. It seemed a good value tool.It would be good if the part hard a bag or something so as not get lost or I never had it?

Seems be very accurate. The Pre-set wire sizes are in mm, not AWG. The user defined settings are fairly easy to calibrate to any size. All in all, an awesome tool that is a HUGE labor and material saver!!!

I thought that the precise measurements would relate to AWG but they are in centimeters cubed and they don't match up. But you can't set 8 sizes manually. No more walking out half spools
