Fit perfectly on a Quadrajet carburetor with electric choke, no interference issues with carburetor or HEI distributor... well made part, exactly what I needed to allow installation of a taller air filter in an application with limited hood clearance.

Good product, but the drop could be better. The base to the carburetor is a bit tall. I cut 1/4 inch off to get almost a full 1.5 inch drop which made it clear everything as needed.

Crappy pic but you can see it arrived with a large bend in it. Was shipped in a box way too big for the lid and barely had any type of packing paper and zero bubble wrap. Shipping box was damaged not to mention it was shipped loose in the box. No manufacturers box nothing. Was shipped in a 16"x16"x16" box with one piece of paper wrapped around it. So shipping of this item was very unacceptable. Luckily its aluminum and I can bend this back and put it towards the back of the engine and hide the flaw. Also the edges are VERY so be careful not to cut yourself. Other than that it's a pretty nice piece.

This drop base allowed more clearance with my 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne stock hood. I have a 3 inch filter and a Holley Sniper Xflow. It is on a Big Block Chevrolet with a Victor Jr. manifold. Fit much better than a L88 style stock low base with the Sniper throttle extension and needed no modifications in my application.
