The standard brass pilot bushing that was installed was too short so needed an extended version. This is because I have a scatter shield with a metal plate that bolts between the bell-housing and block. This is also witnessed by the wear pattern on the surface of the pilot shaft which was only 50% contact. I pulled out the brass and compared it to this one. Brass = 1.0640" this one = 1.0935". This is about 0.0295 larger than the brass. I just cannot see myself slamming this in. So beware. Looks like MOST are 1.0940" OD so it could be an anomaly that my crank takes a smaller one. Best to measure is my point. And of course, the brass one would likely be slightly smaller once removed.

Not a bad bushing but, check your pilot shaft clearance first. Mine got stuck and I broke it off pulling the engine.
