I never have done this level of mechanic work before, but it was much needed.My boat stopped starting because of the chipped teeth on the flex plate, so I took it all apart and installed this new one and now it starts like a champion!

The torque converter bolt holes are slotted or elongated (zoom in on the pics). The flexplate had to be modifed for the crankshaft dowel pin to crankshaft clearance, so the flexplate would bolt onto the crankshaft. I would never use this flexplate on any performance engine. My application was a "got to get it going" situation on a 230hp 350 torque engine; otherwise, it would have been sent back for a refund or higher quality exchange.

not dual bolt pattern like mentioned, need the 11.5 for th400/4l80e, will be returned. Seem well made.
