Your cart is empty.Allstar Transmission Tail Shaft Seal and Bushing Kit features a transmission tail shaft seal and bushing kit. It fits GM power glides, GM th350, Saginaw, Muncie, bert and brinn transmissions. The tail shaft bushing is a regular wear item, located inside the transmission tail shaft housing. It should be replaced when replacing a tail shaft seal or when a driveshaft failure has occurred. A worn bushing will cause excessive side-to-side movement of the slip yoke and create a vibration or leak. A replacement individual seal can be purchased separately by purchasing Allstar part 72150. It is sold separately. It is backed by a 90-day limited factory . It is sold as one complete kit.

This will absolutely work for a 4 speed Muncie transmission. The seal and bushing fit well and it stopped my leak.

Bearing fit so well in my Saginaw 3 speed that it took a bit of finagling to set which is absolutely fine.The collar wasn't snug as I hoped though, but this driveshaft is 54 years old. I'll be watching to see if it keeps fluid from passing around it.

This item page says it fits my 1998 chevy Silverado 4x4 with 4l60e tranny according to my Amazon garage vehicle on my account but it does not. You might want to fox that glitch. Now I'm out $12.
