Used on 5.0 with gt40 intake and 5.8 with stock truck intake and worked well with both. Both had stock fuel rails installed as well. Plate did not need any modification as stated in other reviews. Overall a very solid, well made lift plate for your sbf.

Lined up great for my Edelbrock EFI intake for my 351w in my ‘94 F150. Thick steel and of quality. Would definitely recommend thus far.Worked great for lifting my engine and transmission together for install.

Didn't bolt up holes were off and it wouldn't clear the fuel rail had to modify it to make it work

Lift plate works great, but it is clearly designed to be used with the fuel rail in place, however it would not fit with the fuel rail in place and I had to cut a corner off of it to use it. The welds on the one I got look pretty good, and it works great after being modified. If you have an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel I would recommend it if you plan to use it with the fuel rail installed, if your fuel rail is off it should work great as is. But not too happy that I couldn't use it until I cut a corner off. Also it does not interfere with the distributor.

Very nice lift plate. The price was great for the quality of the part. May need to loosen the fuel rails to fit properly I just took the grinder to two corners to make it fit with fuel rail in place.
