The fill plug was stripped and stuck in my truck's diff. This was the solution. Drilled a hole, I recommend a step bit, in the factory diff cover and welded this on. Worked like a charm.

I like these. I've already used this product about 3 times and even ground one out of one of my older fuel cells and reused it on another without any warping. I don't like how the threads feel a little rough when turning but it's just the size of the threads. There's no roughness or imperfections on them. The fact that it has a rubber gasket seal makes it perfect. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable to turn.

10x easier then filling threw the vent hole. bung itself welds nice and is thick enough that it doesn’t warp. i added this to a 9†i narrowed but its obv universal

The threads for the aluminum cap and the steel bung did not match well enough to allow to thread fully. Had to file the threads on the cap down to match.

abri el paquete y la tapa esta muy bien de lujo es de aluminio pero la parte de la rosca soldable es metal y tenia la rosca con muy mala terminacion, allstar performance no revisa sus productos que ensamblen bien.no lo regrese porque abri el paquete y lo rompi emosionado pero nunca me imagine que que vendria defectuoso y no hay forma de saberlo solo abriendo el paquete.tiene buen presio pero no lo recomiendo y si lo compras trata de abrirlo con todo cuidado y guarda el paquete por si tienes que hacer la devolucion. gracias

So fortunately, I can make this work for my application, but for anyone looking for a similar product - the listed 1.375" OD is misleading at best and wrong at worst. The OD of the threads of the cap measure 1 5/16" by my reckoning and that's the closest thing to 1.375" on the cap. The OD of the step of the bung is 1.8125", the OD of the bung itself is just shy of 2", and the OD of the cap is roughly 2.25". The height of the bung is about .5" and the height of the entire thing when the cap is screwed in is 1.25".Very annoying that these basic measurements are A) not listed, and B)not accurate compared to the description.
