Fret board came warped like a bow, fret slots way too deep. Definitely buy elsewhere.

i was on with making a 3 string les paul cigar box guitar and fancied a maple fretboard instead of rosewood etc and this fitted the project great,the quality is great the frets are cut exact and not too deep i did have to plane /sand edges off after bonding to neck as normal and its really an excellent fretboard it sands easy glues easy and feels great on fingers,i will say that i used medium jumbo frets and they went in very easy and the frets are cut allowing you to get a fine tip glue inside without getting it allover fretboard ,worth the money.

Straight and nice looking. Fret slot distances are accurate and there were no intonation problems with the finished build.There was a 1,5x2,5 mm chip missing on the top edge on one side. The fretboard came wrapped in a double layer of sturdy plastic in a padded box so I doubt it was damaged in transport. So a notch better quality control before shipping might be a good thing...However, for this particular build I wanted a more narrow neck and after planing 3 mm of the side of the fretboard the damage was done with.The fret slots are quite shallow and after sanding a 7.25 inch radius there were just enough slot depth left to fit the tang of the frets at the edges. This was done in a sanding jig and I didn't remove more material than was absolutely necessary to achieve the radius. So sanding has to be done carefully or there is a risk that the slots need to be deepened with a saw.On the other hand the snug fit of the tang leave no gaps at the fret ends to fill with glue and sawdust and the finished result looks really neat.The small damage reduced one star, butI have bougt three of these fretboards and there were no problems with the other two. I will probably buy again for future projects.
