Works great and the sockets hold firmly and will not fall off. But, not to tight where you have to tug on them to remove from the rail.

For the same item at Home depot you will spend $40 dollars. This socket stick has great magnets, its sturdy, and the adapters rotate so i can see the sizes. I also like the colors available. I put my standards on green and metric on blue.

Great product for the price! Aluminum and clips are nice. I cut mine to length. Even trimmed the clips a little on the 1/4†set so the sockets weren’t spread far apart and I can utilize more space in my tool box. Magnet strip could be a little stronger but can still hold tools against a box. I will be buying more!

Personally, I hate those cheap metal socket rails you get for a buck at the tool discounters. This rail is a far better option. The aluminum rail is very sturdy and well finished. The plastic clips have a small ball bearing in their base and travel easily along the rail, and the sockets fit securely while being easy to remove. My socket set didn't need the full number of clips, and as the rail as delivered was too long for where I wanted to put it I removed the plastic end caps, cut the unneeded length off the rail, and put a couple of screws on each end to keep the clips from falling off. Perfect. Also, I removed the magnetic strip from the base. I realize that for some users the whole idea is being able to attach the rail to any metal surface, but I take the set to where I'm working, and don't want the rail's magnet picking up any stray bits of metal that will have to be cleaned off later. To each his own, the strip was easy to remove and suits my needs.I also purchased a different vendor's version. It was a bit more expensive and not as well featured. The Aloanes is the better buy.

The socket rail holds sockets tight i used them for impact sockets that are heavy and most rails will not hold them very well. The magnet on the bottom of the rail is not very strong and will not hold my socket rail to the box very well. If you are looking for a rail to hold sockets organized this is a good choice. If you are looking for something to hold sockets to the side of box, well it might hold lighter sockets like 1/4" but not heavy sockets to the side of the box give it a 5 star for organization , a 2 star for the magnet base.

Holds up to 14 sockets, magnetic base. Holds firmly, no movement.

Green is my color and these socket rails keep everything in place inside my tool box. I work out of a van and things have a habit of rolling around but these rails keep all of my sockets right where I left them. They look great too, I love the color. Price is unbeatable for what you're getting!

I bought these to replace ones from harbor freight and they don’t seem to be as strong magnetic as the ones I have now. I’ll keep them not worth returning

I am noticing a trend of recurring malfunctions. This points to a potentially systemic issue requiring further investigation. It is imperative to identify the root cause to prevent future occurrences. This will ensure the longevity and reliability of the product or system in question. I recommend a thorough analysis and appropriate corrective actions. No problem with the 1/2 and the 3/8 for now.
