A split little comal that is perfect for our camping trips.. small enough to not take up space. It’s a perfect little comal!💥

Used it once & the paint came off onto my food. Absolute junk. Probably cancerous as well. Do not buy.

Needed a comal to warm my corn and flour tortillas. The burners on my stove would burn the tortilla’s even on the lowest flame. The smaller tortillas didn’t fit over the burner and fell on the flame. This comal solved my problem!

Made good tortillas but warped on the gas range. After it cooled the warp disappeared. But I was able to control the heat much better than with my cast iron comal. For the price I think it is a good deal.

I bought this, not wanting to buy a cast iron griddle for my new induction cooktop, fearing it would scratch the surface. This griddle is ok. It is light and easy to clean, but burnt food will stick to it if you aren't careful. The bottom has begun to gray out slightly as if the color is disappearing. I don't think it's damaged my induction cooktop, but still, I'm always a little leary about using it. I can't seem to find anything within a decent price range, so I'll continue to use it for now.

I had three problems with mine, but to be fair one of them is kind of my fault.1. Mine arrived damaged. It looked like someone took an angle grinder to it and ground through the nonstick and cut into the steel.2. Size. I usually use 10" tortillas, so I bought the 11" pan, only to find out that the 11" pan only has a 9" diameter surface. Not useful to me.3. I thought I was buying a carbon steel pan. I got a (damaged) nonstick pan. If I wanted a nonstick pan, I would have bought a nonstick pan, but I specifically did NOT want that. I want a plain, uncoated, carbon steel pan, as indicated in the misleading title. You have to read the fine print to find out that this has a garbage nonstick coating that contains lead and cadmium. Who wants a pan coated in lead and cancer?

Works great to toast chilies or tortillas.
