After many OEM style external voltage regulators not working brand new out of the box, this is an easy, simple, & clean solution to eliminate the variables of external voltage regulators. This product fits cleanly under the rear housing of a Denso style alternator and regulates to 14.2 volts as described.

Voltage gauge hasn't wavered since adding this in. I checked it on a charger that checks voltage and it shows steady at 13.8v. Gauge reads at just under the 14 hash mark. I think this means my battery will last longer.

I used it on my 1990 Dodge b350 and it fixed my no charge situation on my alternator.
