I started this project precisely a year ago, but due to my hectic work schedule, it sat unfinished for several months. However, when I finally finished it, what impressed me the most was that the grass that sat for months in the hot Florida sun matched seamlessly with the new one. There was no difference in color at all. This grass is incredibly soft, unlike the patches I sampled before. It has high piling, beautiful coloring, and feels great when you walk on it. I was so pleased with it that I ended up ordering more to expand the project. I highly recommend this brand over any other!

We had a place at the end of our patio that just refused to grow grass. This worked great! Was easy to lay. Stays in place with grass stakes. Thick, looks fairly real. Lets dog pee wash through, and poop picks up nicely. We rake the leaves off easily. There is one negative. It does get very hot when the sun is beating down on it. (We live in South Texas) Fortunately where we have it that is only for about an hour a day and then it is fine.

Ordered this to put on my rooftop deck and it looks great! The photo was only a few minutes after unboxing so there are some creases from how it was folded, but a few hours later it was settled. A little shiny in direct sunlight, but very soft and feels very good. I actually have a second section I’ll be installing soon! Great price, great quality. This item happened to ship out of Los Angeles where I am, so it was also delivered ahead of schedule. Would absolutely buy again.

Best decision I have made to replace the small area of grass with Altruistic! My dog made this area look awful constantly. Now it always looks great. Durability I have only had this turf for approximately one month installed. So far, so good. Softness wise I should have used a different base product.

Looks real enough at the right distance lol. My purpose was to cover a ball spot in my backyard that would not grow grass no matter would. Even fresh sod would die. So this works.

The most authentic looking faux grass. My puppy loves it. Put it in front of doggie door. Works like a charm. I pick it up once a week and shake it. Holds a lot of dirt that otherwise would be on the carpet. I love it. A little more pricey, but worth it.

This is meant for animals and when it's in the sun it's too hot to walk on. My little dogs can't stand it neithet can I it's like hit sand. Other than that it's nice. It appears to drain well but I'm dissatisfied with how hot it gets.
