This is a well made plunger and reasonably priced. I am an amateur and only shoot in the yard for fun. I found that I really didn't notice much difference when using this or not, but I'm not an avid shooter.

Quite easy to install and adjust but it's vibrating a lot during the shots and the rattling noise disturbed other archers at my club.

ELONG OUTDOOR Aluminium Archery Cushion PlungerI recently got a new take-down recurve bow that had (new for me) a threaded insert for installing a cushion plunger arrow rest. I did a little researching online, on the function and uses of these, and decided to order one and give it a try.This item arrived with no installation instructions or helpful information, so again, I checked out some YouTube videos on typical installation, which were very enlightening. Although it is not rocket science, here are a lot of adjustments and tightening steps to pay attention to, and many small fiddly parts to keep track of when installing this on a bow.This cushion plunger has fine adjustments possible, for tuning your arrow release and shots.It does NOT include "1 Extra Teflon Tips" (whatever that is), as stated in the description. In fact, it does not include ANY "Teflon tips"From the product description:"Thread Size: 5/16"-24;Distance"A": 17.5-26mm.Material: Aluminum Shafts, Teflon Black Tips."It does not have "Aluminum Shafts", it has steel shafts. (It does have aluminum locking collars). It does NOT have "Teflon Black tips". (which are a feature on higher priced/quality cushion plungers). The Teflon tips would contact the arrow shaft, and reduce wear and friction. Although, some high priced cushion plungers also have steel tips contacting the arrow. This item has steel tips which contact the arrow.It does have an extra steel shaft, an extra spring, two wrenches, and a hex key. It seems to thread into the standard threaded insert in the bow just fine.I may update review later after getting the hang of using this cushion rest.
