This is a great upgrade for the stock cast iron flywheel that can't take too much high RPM.It's way cheaper than the billet flywheels and gets good reviews from youtubers like Black66.Do your research on fitment. Hondas, clones, 212 hemis, and 212 non-hemis don't all have the same crank taper and don't all use the same flywheel.Highly recommended.

If you plan on or already have removed your governor this is a great kit to install. With the aluminum flywheel, you don't have to worry about the cast iron one exploding, especially if it's right between your legs on a mini bike like mine. The flywheel is easy to install and offers great piece of mind. The Heavier valve springs are another great part to install if you have removed your governor and are achieving over 5000rpm. when your engine is moving at those speeds you can have valve float which is where the valve doesn't return quickly enough between cycles, if too much rpm is reached your valves can start to contact the piston so how do you fix this... heavier valve return springs, also very easy to install with basic tools and some mechanical aptitude. The only issue I noticed is you do lose the ability to have a stator but in most applications, you won't have a stator unless you have electric start. I recommend this kit to anyone who's removing their governor and trying to achieve higher rpm.

A must have for governor removal. I’d hate for the stock 212 flywheel to explode and injure anyone, so having a cast aluminum set gives me peace of mind.This seems well balanced and like a good quality part. Engine runs great with it. Plain aluminum finish which is fine with me. This is a very affordable flywheel for the 212 motor.Now I don’t have to worry as much about the top end speed or rpm issues that you might be concerned about with the stock flywheel.

Got this for my Predator clone w/ a mild build (stage 1 carb / intake / exhaust). Wanted to change out the flywheel before I ditched the governor.Obviously, this is a cast flywheel not a billet one, so these are more for "mild builds", and also note that many race tracks specify billet flywheels, so check your local rules if you're racing.For the money, it seems pretty good, and came with both keys, so, hopefully it doesn't explode on me, lol. 5 stars.
