We use these for our two 24’ extension ladders and I feel like somebody should slap me for not doing this earlier. These work great and we’re easy and fast to install.

I initially put one rail upside down, which wouldn't be a big deal if they were both the same way. There was a 3 inch difference in the height of the ladder rack mounts because the holes are not even both ways from the ends. The directions are basically drawings in which it is very hard to see details like which end is up. Clue: the end with the single non slotted mount hole goes down. I stripped a couple of the nylon nuts too, which of course should not be reused, so if you want to move the racks around on the rails for different uses you will want to buy other hardware. Also those bolts sit so close to my tailer wall a ratchet would not get a straight bite on the nut or the bolt, and I had to use wrenches. That's super slow with nylon nuts. The hardware seems sturdy enough. The bungee hook points are handy. Time will tell.

Pretty easy to install. The bungees are useful for something else other than tying down ladders.

The rack itself seems nice. The supplied nuts and bolts are questionable at best. I stripped 3 nuts, and snapped a bolt while installing using NO power tools. It seemed as though the threads were not lining up with some of the locking nuts, which resulted in them binding up completely before flushing up to what I was bolting too. Unable to loosen or tighten, my only option was to cut 2 of them with a grinder, while the other one snapped from the torque. This seems like a dangerous game to play, I will be replacing all of the bolts. Just hoping I don’t lose my ladders on the highway in the meantime!

Really happy with the look, but the hardware is junk. It’ll strip the threads and they didn’t finish. Drilling holes the whole way through the brackets.
